About Flying Stars Feng Shui

Flying Stars Feng Shui helps feng shui consultants produce reliable reports for their clients. The chart, the directions and the room-by-room placements come from the method and come out the same every time. The wording, and the recommendations that come from experience, stay the consultant’s own.

Why was it made?

A consultant’s report has two parts. The first is calculation: the chart for the building, each resident’s personal directions, and which part of the plan each room sits in. It has to be right, and it has to be checked the same way every time. The second is judgement: what experience and the actual space say about this client.

The app takes over the first part, so the consultant’s time goes to the second.

Can a consultant change what the report says?

Yes. The advice in a report can be reworded in the consultant’s own words, and a consultant can write in specific recommendations that come from their experience and from the situation of the space they are reviewing: the land, the light, the way a family actually uses a room. Wording that has been changed can be reset to the original.

Who is behind it?

Lara Klait, co-founder and consultant

Lara is an experienced Master feng shui consultant, certified by Lillian Too, with a passion for enhancing people’s lives by creating enabling spaces for her clients.

She has studied and practised feng shui since 2002, was most recently certified in 2009, and is a graduate of the Lebanese American University. Her consultations are offered through Lebanon Feng Shui. The app is built around the way a consultant actually works: the calculation done once and done right, and the advice left to the person who knows the client and the space.

Developed by Khaldoun Al Hallak

Khaldoun is a developer based in the United Arab Emirates who builds software for practical, everyday use. He is particular about accuracy: every figure published on this site is checked against the same engine the app uses, so the two cannot drift apart.

How does the app work out its answers?

Every chart, direction and room recommendation comes from one set of published rules, and the same input always gives the same result. The guides on this site are written from those same rules and checked against them, so a figure in a guide matches what the app shows.

  • The chart comes from the building’s facing direction and the period it was built in.
  • Personal directions come from each resident’s kua number.
  • Where the stars and the personal directions disagree, the stars decide first.
  • When no placement works well, the app says so rather than dressing one up.

What are its limits?

A floor plan cannot show the land, the surroundings or the people. The app gives a reading from the method, not a prediction about anyone's life, and it is not medical, legal or financial advice. For important decisions, an experienced practitioner's eye is worth having.
